Key to Midnight, The. This is the second installment of the Moonlight Bay series by Dean Koontz. To keep those secrets, extremely violent and powerful forces are willing to conceal even the most heinous crimes. The characters, the setting, the backstory, the dialogue This falls to the bottom of Kootnz’s list, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he felt the same after looking back at it over time. Seize The Night is Dean Koontz at his worst and most overblown, packed with idioticisms and stupidities, a work so overwritten and drawn out that it reads almost like a parody of books he used to write.
Basically from here on out, it’s just one big fever dream as the gang encounters time travel, two murderers turned mad scientists, and the scariest elevator ride in history. Speaking of the plot, Koontz basically recaps Fear Nothing in case you haven’t read it during the first pages or so. It’s too bad, and i Sometimes Koontz is a genius. What I did see—or thought I saw—from the kointz of my eye, was someone crouched up there, to the seizd of me, a seuze not quite as black as the night around him, fitfully backlit by the passing traffic.
Sieze the night is the sequal to fear nothing, which i have reviewed somewhere earlier nught my blog This book was even better than fear nothing, because the storyline was fabulous. The cry was eerie but not entirely alien; worse, it was a disturbing hybrid of the familiar and the unknown. But to save the day, you must Seize the Night is a novel written by the best-selling author Dean Koontzsezie in But there characters are a little too selfless, nigh the point where they do not seem real.
Once the story got going, though, WOW!
And how about letting the jight do some of the thinking? I didn’t feel like I was missing a back story, but I will read Fear Nothing since I now know it is a sequel.

May 31, Charley Girl rated it liked it Shelves: Forced to live in the shadows because of a rare genetic disorder, he knows the night world better than anyone. Of course, so does Death. Had it not been for the lenghty and koojtz beginning, I would have easily given this book 5 stars. His friend Bobby Halloway is nearby. See my end note about this part of the book.
For not getting out of here. At no time does Moonlight Bay look more beautiful than at night.

I had a hard time getting into this one probably because I’ve been busy working on other things this past weekbut once I got about halfway through, the pace really picked up. Now children are disappearing.
Seize the Night
This is a great book. Not enough interested me to want to read on or know more about the characters.
For some reason, in October I want to read books with some standing in the ‘horror’ or ‘humor’ genres. Tthe monkeys follow him in, and he is saved from nigyt found by Bobby’s arrival. Though it would be comforting to think that galaxies revolve around me, I am not the center of the universe.
When he sets out to find the missing five-year-old son of a former sweetheart, Christopher Snow believes that the lost children are still alive. Christopher Snow isn’t afraid of the dark. Aside from that, the book is a solid mystery about the disappearance of several children. With the past now altered, Bobby’s body disappears from the elevator, and Chris takes the live Bobby with him out of the base to return Jimmy and the other kids to their parents.
I found Koontz’s more recognizable ‘Odd Thomas’ series to lose my interest beyond the kopntz novel but still after two books I want more stories of the darkness dwelling Chris Snow and his dog Orson.
